Police recover 'large quantity' of cannabis from Chesterfield home

A ‘large quantity’ of cannabis was seized by police from a property in Chesterfield.

The stash of illegal drugs were found in a home in the Walton area of the town on Sunday, April 18.

Officers from Chesterfield Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team recovered several bags of cannabis which were found along with sweet wrappers from inside the property.

In a post on Facebook, police posted pictures of the illegal substances which were seized and told residents ‘don’t do drugs’.

Officers seized a large quantity of cannabis from a property in Walton yesterday (April 18).
