The incident took place at 2.40pm on Wednesday, April 28 and involved a red Volvo XC40 and a silver car.

It took place while both vehicles were on the Tesco-Lockoford Lane roundabout, before heading down the A61 towards Chesterfield and then onto the Horns Bridge roundabout.

The road rage incident happened near the Lockoford Lane roundabout in Chesterfield.

A Derbyshire police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have heard the altercation between the two drivers to get in touch – as well as any drivers who may have dashcam footage of the incident.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Derbyshire police on 101, the force website or via Facebook or Twitter, including reference 21*233002 in any correspondence.
