Police hunt for vehicle which shed load of tiles on major north Derbyshire road

Police are searching for a vehicle which shed its load of tiles onto a busy north Derbyshire road.

Officers say the incident happened on the A61 at Dronfield, and have taken to social media in a bid to find the driver responsible.

Derbyshire roads Policing Unit tweeted: “Why we do insist on secure loads. Pile of tiles fell off vehicle and left in the road.

"Same also happened at the opposite end of the county on the A515 at Sudbury.”
