Police concerned for 'lost' pensioner spotted wandering around Chesterfield at night

Police have appealed to the public for help in identifying a ‘lost’ elderly man who has been seen wandering around an area of Chesterfield at night.

Officers from Clay Cross SNT shared the appeal after the man was captured by concerned residents on CCTV in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, February 18).

They said: “We have been made aware of an elderly male that has been seen seen in New Tupton this morning at 2.30am. His actions would suggest he’s lost and not of a criminal nature.

“Do you you know him? If so, please contact us via 101 if you have any information. We need to know he is safe and well.”
