Police carry out patrols in North East Derbyshire after spate of antisocial behaviour

Derbyshire Police have carried out patrols in the North East of the county after residents raised concerns about a rise in antisocial behaviour.

Officers from the Dronfield Police Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted checks in the area yesterday (February 1) following up on concerns about young people jumping fences near Dronfield flyover.

Police patrolled gardens and residential areas in an attempt to prevent any further antisocial behaviour.

It comes after the Dronfield Neighbourhood Team issued an appeal for CCTV and information following a criminal damage incident in the town over the weekend.

The image released by police appears to show a shed in Holmesfield Park Wood which has been vandalised and broken into.

While officers are unable to narrow time the exact time the crime took place, they believe it was between 9am on January 30 and 9am on January 31.

Anyone who has any information about the illegal damage should contact officers by calling police on 101 and quoting reference 21*64648.
