Police bid to trace this man after car stolen in Derbyshire

Police have released a picture of a man they want to trace after a car was stolen in Derbyshire.

Keys were taken from a house on Pentrich Road, Pentrich, then a Mercedes was stolen between around 4.45am and 5am on Wednesday.

The car was recovered later the same day after it was found in the Selston area.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “The man pictured in the image may be able to help with our inquiries, and although it’s not the best quality, we hope someone may come forward with information.”

Anyone with information should contact the force using one of the below methods, quoting reference number 20*582204 and the name of the officer in the case, PC Eileen Egan.
