Police appeal over missing Brimington woman

Police in Chesterfield have issued an urgent appeal to help find a missing local woman.

Shirley Hutton (49) left her home in Brimington during yesterday afternoon (Friday May 27) and has not been seen since.

Extensive searches have been carried out overnight and this morning in the Brimington and Staveley areas but officers are asking residents to check their gardens and outhouses.

Mrs Hutton is 5ft 5ins tall, with short blonde hair and of slim build. She was wearing a grey sweater, blue skinny jeans and black knee-length boots. She was also carrying a black handbag.

Officers are extremely concerned for her safety.
