Police appeal after teenager punched in face near Derbyshire school

Derbyshire police are appealing for help after a 14-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by another youth.

Officers from Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team are investigating the incident.

They say the victim ‘was left with an injury to his nose after being punched by another teenage boy’.

Police are investigating the alleged assault in Shirebrook.

A police spokesperson said: “Two other boys were also present at the time of the assault which took place a little after 3pm on a footpath close to Shirebrook Academy.”
