Pictures as suspected drink-driver crashes into wall of Staveley home

Police have released pictures from the scene of an overnight crash in Staveley after a suspected drink-driver crashed into a wall.

Officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit arrested a man after the incident, which involved one vehicle and saw the driver record a breath test of 100 mcgs of alcohol, when the limit is 35mcgs.

The unit tweeted at 10pm last night: “Staveley. Single vehicle collision. Driver crashes into a wall. Drunk - blows 100µg at the roadside, limit 35µg. Arrested.”
