One more patient at Chesterfield Royal Hospitals dies with Covid-19

One more patient with Covid-19 has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, latest NHS figures have confirmed.

The figures, which give the deaths recorded up to November 16, show that the death toll of patients at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Trust who have died after testing positive now stands at 169.

Nationwide, a further 330 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 36,842.

Patients were aged between 27 and 99 years old. All except 11 (aged 30 to 93 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from 29 October to 16 November 2020 with the majority being on or after 13 November.

Their families have been informed.
