Officers appealing for witnesses Mam Tor incident which saw paraglider die

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a paraglider died to come forward as the investigation into his death continues.

The incident occurred at around 6.45pm on Friday, August 14 and saw paraglider Timothy Ogden crash into the ground in the field opposite Mam Nic car park, close to Mam Tor.

A number of witnesses stayed at the scene and have been spoken to by officers, however, due to the busy location officers are appealing for anyone who may have photographs or video of the incident to come forward.
