A 29-year-old man has been jailed for ‘numerous’ offences involving stealing cars and interfering with vehicles in Chesterfield.

Dale Stansfield, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 44 weeks in prison at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police thanked the community for their engagement which led to many coming forward with CCTV footage.
