Lorry driver caught 'watching TV' while travelling on the M1 in Derbyshire

Officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit labelled a lorry driver ‘crazy’ after they were caught watching TV while driving on the M1 on Sunday.

The motorist was pulled over by police in Derbyshire on April 18, who handed the lorry driver a ticket.

In a tweet, the unit said: “M1. Lorry driver watching TV whilst driving. Ticket and reported to Traffic Commissioner. (Sorry about blurry photo) #Crazy #Traffic #OpDerbyshire”.

One social media user replied: “Bet that doesn’t feature on season 418 of ‘Trucks and Trailers’.”
