Jordan’s brother Tom has said the family have had confirmation of donations from “nearly every team” in the English leagues, with Scottish clubs, non-league sides and even Sunday league teams also donating shirts.

After the funeral they plan to donate them to Sport Relief to distribute to children abroad. Tom said the gesture would make his family happy knowing Jordan has helped children.

At the time of his death, Jordan was on loan at Matlock Town from nearby Alfreton Town. Both clubs postponed their matches last weekend following the incident.

Alfreton will hold a minute's silence for him when they host Gloucester City in the National League North on Tuesday (28 January).

Another of Jordan’s former clubs, Chesterfield, have planned a series of tributes to him. He made made eight appearances for them in the 2017-18 season.
