Jail sentences for two men for fighting near a bus stop in Chesterfield
Two men have been given jail sentences following an incident at a bus stop in Chesterfield.
Police were called to reports of a fight at a bus stop near to the bottom of the escalators on Beetwell Street on Monday, January 18.
Following police enquiries two men were arrested by officers, and later charged with a public order offence.
They both appeared at Chesterfield Justice Centre on Wednesday, March 9, where they both pleaded guilty.
Zaccary Sedgwick, 23, who was of Springvale Close, Danesmoor, was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison and Mark Elson, 28, of no fixed address, was also sentenced to 14 weeks in jail.
