A Derbyshire teenager who tragically died at the scene of a crash in the Peak District just days before Christmas has been named.

The 19-year-old passenger, who lost his life in the collision on Hathersage Road in Dore on Saturday (December 19) at around 10.15pm has been named locally as Jake Birkinshaw from Hathersage.

It is believed that Jake was killed after the 17-year-old driver of the car lost control on the bend, causing the car to flip.
