Police were sent to Norbury Way in Sandiacre on Saturday night after receiving reports of what officers have described as a ‘large disturbance’.

Three men and two women were arrested and police are now appealing for witnesses.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a large disturbance in Norbury Way, Sandiacre, at around 6.30pm on Saturday.

“A 50-year-old man, a 25-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man all from Ilkeston were arrested at the scene, along with a 22-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 32-year-old woman from Sandiacre.

“All were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and remain in police custody as enquiries continue,” the spokesperson added.
