There have been a range of driving offences for officers to contend with, from uninsured drivers and illegal off-roaders to children riding motorcycles.
These are eight of the incidents tackled by Derbyshire Police over the last seven days as they work to keep our roads safe.

5. No MOT
This car was pulled over during proactive patrols in Heanor and Langley Mill. The driver was fined after officers discovered the vehicle’s MOT had expired in 2021.

6. Another seizure
This Nissan Micra was stopped today by officers in Chesterfield. The driver had no licence, and as a result, the car was seized.

7. Uninsured Range Rover
This Range Rover was stopped by officers from the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit in Cromford today. It had no insurance or MOT, and as such, was confiscated from the owner.

8. Licence revoked
The driver of this van was stopped on the M1 today by the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit. Their licence had been revoked, and they had no insurance - their van was subsequently seized.
