Derbyshire Roads Police pulled the vehicle over the M1 yesterday evening (Tuesday, January 14) before discovering the 'tidy sum’.

Officers tweeted: “Another 'Ace' job from Motorway Number 1 involving lots of cash.

“Two detained persons and one arrested as already wanted for a serious assault in the Humberside area.

“Some questions to answer at the police station.”
