Prosecuting, Becky Allsop said: “At around 8.40 in the evening on Christmas Day, police say the vehicle travelling erratically, fluctuating from walking pace to about 30 mph, when it turned onto the A38 heading towards Mansfield. She was then seen to slow down to about 10mph and almost collided with a barrier. The officer activated his emergency equipment but the vehicle continued for some time before pulling over in a bus stop. She had slurred speech and could hardly walk.”

Stott, who admitted drink driving, was banned from driving for 24 months but was offered a drink drive rehabilitation course which would reduce the disqualification by 26 weeks of completed by May 23, 2021.

She was also given a nine-month community order to include five rehabilitation days and fined £80. Magistrates also ordered her to pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
