It happened after the motorcyclist failed to negotiate a bend on the A6 between Bakewell and Buxton, ploughing head-on into a Honda Jazz.
Derbyshire Roads Police tweeted that ‘somehow’ the motorcyclist sustained just a broken wrist and other minor injuries despite being seen ‘flying through the air’.
The occupants of the Honda Jazz sustained minor injuries.
