Disqualified and uninsured driver caught on school run in Derbyshire

A disqualified and uninsured driver was caught by police while on the school run in Derbyshire.

Officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing unit were on patrol in Heanor when they spotted the Fiesta yesterday morning (Thursday, September 23).

Taking to Twitter, the unit confirmed the car was subsequently seized after the driver was found to be disqualified from driving with no insurance.

They said: “Heanor. Driver of this Fiesta on the school run...but they really shouldn't be as they are disqualified from driving with no insurance. #Seized #ProtectingTheVulnerable.”
