Derbyshire police stop BMW doing motorway speeds in residential street
Derbyshire police revealed how they stopped a driver travelling at more than twice the speed limit in a residential street.
Officers from the county’s roads policing unit pulled over a BMW in Shirebrook after they clocked the vehicle travelling at 70mph in a 30mph limit zone.
Police also responded after getting complaints about speeding and stopped five vehicles caught breaking the 30mph speed limit in Renishaw in just 20 minutes.
