Derbyshire police spot Mercedes driver selling jewellery on M1 slip road
Police have responded after spotting the occupants of a Mercedes car selling jewellery on an M1 slip road in Derbyshire.

Officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said the vehicle was also stopped illegally on the hard shouder.
The unit tweeted yesterday: “M1. Occupants of this Mercedes offering jewellery in exchange for cash on motorway slip road.
"A trick that's as old as motorways themselves. Not to mention stopped illegally on the hard shoulder! Reported to court.”
