Criminal serving 12-year sentence absconds from Derbyshire prison – with public warned not to approach

Alfred Adams did not return after a period of temporary release from HMP Sudbury on Tuesday, December 13.
The 44-year-old is currently serving a 12-year sentence for burglary, theft, and intent to steal in relation to a series of attacks on cash machines – and was convicted at Leicestershire Crown Court in 2018.

Hide AdAdams is described as around 5ft 7in tall and of medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his cheek and tattoos on his arms.
He has links to Wigan, Warrington, Stoke-on-Trent, Leicestershire, Newark and Essex, and it is believed he may also have connections to the travelling community.
