Between March 27 and April 13, members of the public were fined for alleged breaches of the lockdown rules set by the government in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus.

Powers granted to police forces during the Covid-19 outbreak allow officers to fine or arrest those flouting measures designed to encourage people to stay at home as much as possible.
