Karen Bartram, 55, who lives on High Street, spotted the man ‘tiddling’ up against her garden gate, which is covered by CCTV, at 3.30pm on Wednesday, 11 November.

She said: “He looked round, undid his zip and just tiddled. Some people were walking by – a couple of kids. How they didn’t see him [I don’t know].

"At that time of the day children were coming out and cars were going up and down. I thought it was disgusting, I thought ‘Why here?’”

Karen, who works as a caretaker at Clay Cross Library, spoke to the police about the incident but they told her identifying the man will be difficult was he was wearing a face covering.

She added: “People come past pretty regularly but it was so blatant, that’s what got me. I’m thinking no pubs are open so where did the guy come from and why did he want to water my gate.

"I couldn’t digest it at first. After I thought about it, it got me really upset. I need to know who this guy is and if he’s done it anywhere else.”

Karen has released CCTV images of the man in the hope of identifying him and bringing him to justice. She believes he could be in his 60s and was wearing a blue top with blue denim jeans and brown shoes.
