Criminals put behind bars include drug dealers exploiting vulnerable teens, violent thugs, child groomers and a teenager convicted of terrorism offences.
These are some of the offenders that were jailed for crimes across Derbyshire since the start of January.
5. Chesterfield Christmas present thief locked up

6. Man jailed after slashing stranger in unprovoked Bolsover attack
Aiden Farmer, 28, of Charlesworth Street, Bolsover, appeared at Derby Crown Court on January 30 after he slashed a complete stranger across the face in an unprovoked attack in Bolsover. He admitted wounding, possession of an offensive weapon, supplying cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of diamorphine with intent to supply and supplying diamorphine. 7. Shotgun-wielding robbers jailed for 55 years
Three men who used stolen shotguns to commit a string of armed robberies across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire were jailed for 55 years after appearing at Derby Crown Court on January 27. Ben Hughes, of HMP Ranby, was jailed for 21 years – reduced from 28 years following his guilty plea. Jamille Marsh, of Danby Road, Littleover, was jailed for 18 years - reduced from 24 years following his guilty plea. 8. Man spits in officer’s face and claims he has HIV
Raymond Skelly, 44, of Greenbank, Hadfield, Glossop, was jailed for six months on January 30 after pleading guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker, theft from a shop and going equipped for theft.
