Chesterfield woman cautioned for growing cannabis plants inside house

Derbyshire Police cautioned a Chesterfield woman over the weekend for growing cannabis plants inside her home.

Officers were called to Edinburgh Mews, Newbold at 6.50am on Sunday, November 22 following reports of a disturbance in the street.

Police found a damaged car on the driveway when they arrived and a woman with an arm injury, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

During a search of the house, officers found ‘a small number’ of cannabis plants.

A 30-year-old woman was given a caution in relation to the plants.
