Chesterfield town centre police release CCTV after car boot theft

Chesterfield police have released an image of a male they would like to speak to after a theft in the town.

Officers from Chesterfield Town Centre SNT said new trainers had been stolen from the boot of a car.

A spokesperson said: “Do you recognise the male pictured? We would like to speak to him in connection with a theft in Chesterfield.

“The theft happened on South Place, Chesterfield, sometime between 11am and 7.30pm on Saturday, August 14. New trainers were stolen from the boot of a car.

“We are keen to speak with the male shown in this CCTV image as we believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries.

“If you have any information about this incident or, can identify the male pictured please contact PCSO Follon on 101, quoting reference 21*458695.”
