We are here at Derby Crown Court reporting live from the case of Daniel Walsh, who is accused of murdering and dismembering Chesterfield pensioner Graham Snell.

It is alleged that Walsh, 30, murdered and then dismembered the 71-year-old, at the house they were sharing in Marsden Street in June last year.

Yesterday, the court heard that Mr Snell had stopped his online banking after Walsh accessed his account, and Walsh then set up telephone banking to get his hands on Mr Snell’s money.

Walsh denies murder.
