His arrest came as part of an investigation into an alleged county line operating in Chesterfield.

County lines is the term used to describe the practice of drugs being trafficked from cities into towns and rural areas.

Detective Sergeant Simon Cartwright, from the serious organised crime team in Chesterfield, said: “I would ask anyone with any information about drug dealing in their area to contact us.

“I understand that you may be concerned given those involved in these types of activity – however, you are able to pass information completely anonymously via Crimestoppers or by contacting the force directly.”
