A drunk driver who ploughed into a bollard was arrested after he tripped over during a police chase in Chesterfield.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit joked the man’s legs were as bad as his driving skills in a tweet alongside a picture of the wrecked Audi.
The post read: “Audi fails to stop and fairly quickly runs out of talent binning it into a bollard. Tries his legs but just as bad as he trips over. Arrested - drunk. #DontDrinkDrive #DontGetWrecked.”
Doncaster Constabulary has been contacted for further comment.
