The 29-year-old was sighted in the shop Boyes in Matlock at about noon on Saturday (December 12).
He was seen wearing a pair of blue jeans, a grey Superdry coat which is darker on the sleeves with a hood that is green on the inside.
Derbyshire Police said: “We are very concerned about his safety and we are urging anyone who has seen Joshua to contact us, quoting reference 518 of 12 December.”
The police have previously received numerous sightings of a man matching the description of Joshua on the A632 heading towards Chesterfield at around 4pm on the day he was reported missing.
It is believed the man was trying to hitch a lift and officers were keen to speak to those with information, in order to narrow down whether the man seen was Joshua.
