Car seized after uninsured driver caught using false plates in Chesterfield
An unlicenced and uninsured motorist has had his car seized after being caught driving with false plates in Chesterfield.
Derbyshire Police’s Road Crime Unit tweeted this morning to explain how officers had stopped a Corsa in Brimington.
Describing the occupants as two ‘likely lads’ they said the car was spotted dipped into a cul-de-sac.
They added: “Driver starts to walk of… hold on son. False Plates hiding the fact it has no insurance… and he has no licence.”
The vehicle was seized and more licence plates were found.
