Burglary at Monkey Park Community Hub in Chesterfield

Laptops and a TV were stolen from Chesterfield’s Monkey Park Community Hub.

Derbyshire Police received a report of a burglary at the Monkey Park Community Hub in Chester Street, Chesterfield, between 11.30pm and midnight on Saturday, April 3.

Offenders gained entry through the rear door and searched through the whole premises stealing items throughout including laptops and a TV among other items.

Chesterfield South SNT are investigating and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with any information or anyone with CCTV in the area which may assist with their enquiries.

Monkey Park Community Hub

Various stolen goods were discarded along the footpath across from the fuel station on Ashgate Road that leads along Ashgate Valley Road and comes out at Purbeck Avenue.

Further items were then found discarded on the grassed area to the side of Loundsley Green Shops.

Anyone in this area is also asked to review footage.

A male offender has been identified carrying some stolen goods trying to ride his bike.
