Appeal to trace owner of dog found in Peak District village

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the owner of a dog found in a Peak District village.

Officers from the Derbyshire Dales Response Unit said the pooch was found by itself in Flagg, near Buxton, on Monday, May 3.

In a post on Twitter, they added: "Unfortunately it has no collar or microchip.”
