The life-saving piece of equipment was stolen from Shirebrook Town Hall on the weekend of Saturday, March 13.

Officers from the Shirebrook Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said that an unknown person smashed the glass and removed the defibrillator from its container.

They added: “This piece of equipment could be the difference between life and death for someone.”
