Police are appealing for information following the theft of a defibrillator in Shirebrook.

Officers from the Shirebrook Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said that an unknown person smashed the glass and removed the defibrillator from its container.

They added: “This piece of equipment could be the difference between life and death for someone.”

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101 and quote crime reference number 21000145491.
