CRASH UPDATE: Man arrested after car overturns near Chesterfield roundabout
A man has been arrested after a crash in Chesterfield at the weekend in which the driver fled the scene.
The incident happened at around 3.40am on Sunday when a Mercedes vehicle left the road and overturned on the A61 close to Whittington Moor roundabout.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene to discover the car on its roof - but no sign of the driver.
A man was later arrested in connection with the incident.
It is understood he has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
