Council launch sex health survey

Residents are being invited to have their say about Derbyshire County Council’s plans to develop sexual health services.

The council carried out the first stage of a review in January and has used comments from the feedback to draw up plans to develop the service.

It now wants to know if residents feel the proposals meet their needs and the right issues are being prioritised.

Derbyshire County Council cabinet member for health and communities Coun Dave Allen said: “We want to thank the many people who took part in the first stage of our review in January as their comments have helped us draw up proposals to develop the sexual health services we currently offer.

“We’re now keen to hear from residents again to make sure those proposals are what Derbyshire people need and we’ll use the comments to help us plan future provision.

“Derbyshire overall has a good level of sexual health and we’d like to hear different views from as many people as possible to help us provide the right services to improve these results further.”
