Cooker causes flat fire
A cooker ablaze was the cause of a flat fire in Moreland Drive, Heath, yesterday (March 11).
Firefighters from Chesterfield were called to the heavily smoke-logged ground-floor flat at around 7.40pm.
The crew used a pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the flames.
The stock message was received at 8.05pm.
