Our motto is live for the week not just the weekend.

I like living in Chesterfield because of the diversity of our surroundings, ten minutes in the car and you’re either in a bustling city or the beautiful countryside.

I’m also really fond of the town centre, I love the cobbles despite what they do to my heels.

2. What are your favourite ways to spend your free time in Derbyshire?

I generally spend my free time with my family, my girls love Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle and Frankie and Benny’s.

3. Where is your favourite place to shop locally and why?

My favourite place to shop locally is probably Debenhams,

I also like The Baby Linen House – but I need younger children to shop for now.

4. What is your favourite hidden gem in Chesterfield and why?

I like the local independent shops such as Alcoco where you can get some lovely gifts such as scarves, candles and chocolates.

Also, as a vegetarian, I like the hidden gem that is Organic Kitchen.

5. What are the positives about running a business here?

The best thing about running a business here is the people, there is a real sense of community amongst the businesses.

We work with some fantastic businesses and candidates, one of the best things about this job is that you get to work with so many different people.

6. What new development excites you most?

I’m excited about the Chesterfield Elder Way development.

I’m hoping for more wine bars and a gym in the town centre as that would be great to nip off to at lunch.

7. What do you believe Chesterfield needs but doesn’t yet have?

I would like another department store, maybe John Lewis and I think it needs more shops in the actual centre, I am not a fan of retail parks.
