Church to host carols and firs
A traditional Christmas choir will welcome the coming of some festive firs.
A carol concert will be held to open the Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Church, Wirksworth, on December 14.
The event will start at 7pm and Wirksworth Community Choir will perform. Tickets cost £4 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for a family and are available by Traid Links in the Market Place, Wirksworth.
The tree festival will go on until December 17 and the church will be open between 10.30am and 5pm during it.
