Chesterfield’s new spire
A modern spire takes pride of place on top of Chesterfield’s newest church building.
The spire was completed on site then a crane lifted it into place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Sheffield Road.
An open house for the general public to enjoy a tour of the chapel, its artwork and its facilities will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 2pm to 8pm. All are welcome.
The Chesterfield ward of the church is one of 334 congregations in the United Kingdom, with almost 30,000 congregations worldwide.
