Tom Johnson, of High Street, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Kept on a public road a vehicle which was unlicensed. Fined £400 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £95 and £90 costs.

Matthew Nathan Pollard, of Flamstead Crescent, Chesterfield. Kept a vehicle on a public road having made a statement that the vehicle would not be used on a public road during a specified period. Fined £37 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £24.17 and must pay £90 costs.

Gary Walton, 39, of Princess Road, Dronfield. Kept a vehicle on a public road which was unlicensed. Fined £600 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £130.84 and must pay £90 costs.

Andrew Warsop, 49, of Kingsley Avenue, Chesterfield. Kept a vehicle on a public road which was unlicensed. Fined £73 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £54.17 and £90 costs.

Theft

Sarah Louise Moore, 30, of Vicar Lane, Tibshelf, Alfreton. Stole clothing and groceries. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jamie Antony Hunter, 29, of Smedley Street, Matlock. Entered as a trespasser a newsagent’s in Matlock with intent to steal. Stole an iPad Air and a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of cider. Stole a Skybox and two remote controls. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months with alcohol activity requirement and supervision. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £540 compensation.

Darren Wayne Hitchman, 45, of Derby Road, Chesterfield. Stole meats, cheese, coffee and toiletries. Possession of 0.3grammes of cannabis, a class B drug. Stole more toiletries and alcohol. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Jamie Thomas Heald, 25, of Chapman Lane, Grassmoor, Chesterfield. Damaged a window. Fined £75 and must pay £100 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul Matthews, 29, of Hoole Street, Hasland, Chesterfield. Damaged a Suzuki motorcycle. Destroyed a Yamaha motorbike. Damaged a Lexus estate vehicle, a Sprinter van, a Peugeot and a Toyota Aygo. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £474.94 compensation.

Pearce Anthony Le Gallez, 49, c/o Agricultural Premises named PA LeGallez, of Flash Lane, Darley Moor. Being the owner of land situated at the junction of Back Lane and Flash Lane was in breach of an enforcement notice issued on March 6, 2013, by Derbyshire Dales District Council in that he failed before April 30, 2014, to remove a chalet from the land. Fined £1,000 and must pay a £100 victim surcharge and £340 costs.

James Churchard, 43, of Salisbury Avenue, Chesterfield. Drunk and disorderly behaviour in public. Fined £232 and must pay a £23 victim surcharge.

Michaela Griffiths, 25, of The Croft, South Normanton, Alfreton. Damaged a window valued at £200. Fined £73 and must pay £200 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Commission of a further offence while subject to a 12 month conditional discharge. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence, which was subject to a conditional discharge, of stealing nine packets of razor blades valued at £180 belonging to Wilkinson’s. Fined £37.

Callam Leigh Bostock, 30, of Cherwell Close, Brimington, Chesterfield. Possession of a knife in a public place. Failed to surrender to custody. Possession of methadone, a controlled class A drug. Stole ham and gammon valued at £6 belonging to the Co-op. Community order to last until January 19, 2016, with a curfew for 12 weeks and a drug rehabilitation requirement, electronic monitoring and supervision. Fined £110. Must pay £6 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Natalie Jackson, 22, of Ashlea Green, Clowne. Damaged a window. Fined £165 and must pay £237 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £470 costs.

Caley Elizabeth Bown, 39, of Crown Street, Clowne. Damaged a window. Fined £148 and must pay £237.50 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £150 costs.

Gareth Larner, 31, of Victoria Street, Creswell. Failed to notify Bolsover District Council of a change of circumstances affecting housing benefit. Fined £186 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £100 costs. Failed to give notification that he was in employment knowing this would affect a council tax reduction scheme entitlement. No separate penalty.

Lee Alan Moore, 39, of Bamford Road, Chesterfield. Threw down litter, namely a cigarette. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £150 costs.

Michael George Betton, of Swan Court, Argyll Road, Ripley. Had contact with someone when he was prohibited from doing so. Commission of a further offence during a suspended sentence for the two offences of assaulting a constable. Commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for threatening behaviour and three counts of assault. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and fined £50. Application for a restraining order to be lifted. Granted.

Drugs

Liam Thomas White, 24, of Chiltern Court, Loundsley Green, Chesterfield. Produced cannabis, a controlled class B drug. Committed to prison for 17 weeks suspended for 12 months with employment and training programme and supervision. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Assault

Nigel Bryden Exley, 51, of Spital Lane, Chesterfield. Assault. Community order until January 20, 2016, with 150 hours’ unpaid work. Restraining order until January 20, 2016. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £620 costs.
