Theft

Pawel Adam Michalowski, 20, of Central Drive, Shirebrook. Stole nine chocolate bars, a handbag, bedding and tools. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge. Stole two bottles of gin. Stole black Addidas rucksack, three towels, four pairs of white socks and one pair of trousers valued at £85.91. Committed to prison for 12 weeks.

David john Allen, 36, of High Street, Somercotes, Alfreton. Stole cash valued at £22. Damaged a garden fence valued at £20. Community order for 12 months with a curfew and electronic monitoring and rehabilitation activity requirement. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and £20 compensation.

Paul Aaron Wells, 31, of No Fixed Address. Stole two cakes valued at £1.15 belonging to Tesco. Commission of a further offence while subject to a 12 month conditional discharge for an offence of theft. Dealt with for the original offence of stealing a packet of pizza pockets and bacon straws valued at £3.50 belonging to Tesco. Committed to prison for eight weeks. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Assault

Isaac Gabriel Godinho, 19, of Vernon Road, Chesterfield. Assault. Community order for 12 months with 150 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £150 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Shaun Adrian Svilts, 45, of Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. Stole meat valued at £43.14 belonging to Aldi. Community order for 12 months with a drug rehabilitation requirement, a thinking skills programme and supervision. Must pay £43.14 compensation.

Paul Mason, 46, of Parkside, Alfreton. Assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Alan Samuel Wooton, 30, of Southgate, Eckington. Damaged a door belonging to North East Derbyshire District Council. No separate penalty. Resisted a police constable in the execution of his duty. No separate penalty. Assault. Community order for 12 months with Building Better Relationships programme and 100 hours of unpaid work. Must also pay £75 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Tracey Anne Moorhouse, 45, of Elmton Road, Creswell. Assault. Restraining order to last 12 months. Must pay £50 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Daniel Parker, 22, of Byron Road, Chesterfield. Assault. Community order to last until October 7, 2016, with a Building Better Relationships programme and 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Shane Ferguson, 35, of Burke Drive, Somercotes, Alfreton. Assault by beating. Community order for 12 months with an Employment, Training and Education programme and Thinking Skills programme and supervision. Must also complete 40 hours of unpaid work. Committed fraud by making a false representation namely using a Co-op bank card in the name of another person to make a gain of £560 for herself. Must pay £560 compensation. Stole a bank card valued at £1. Must pay £250 compensation. Committed fraud in that you dishonestly made a false representation namely used a bank card in the name of another person to make a gain of £250. Community order for 12 months with 200 hours of unpaid work.

Amy Louise Markham, 26, of Station Lane, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. With a view to obtaining a benefit namely housing benefit made a statement to the department for Work and Pensions which was false by failing to declare that you and another were living together in the same household as husband and wife. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £100 costs. With a view to obtaining Income Support made a statement to the Department for Work and Pensions which was false in that she failed to declare that she was living in the same household with another as husband and wife. Community order for 12 months with 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Michael Gordon Booth, 47, of Highfield Lane, Chesterfield. Two counts of sending a text message which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress. Community order to last until October 7, 2015 with alcohol specified activity requirement and supervision. Fined £66 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Wayne Darwent, 41, of Victoria Avenue, Staveley. Caused damaged to a Ford Transit van to the value of £100. Caused damage to a Ford Transit van to the value of £220. Assault. Barbara Hawkins, 64, of Pankhurst Place, Clay Cross. With a view to obtaining a benefit namely housing benefit made a representation to North East Derbyshire District Council which was false. With a view to obtaining a benefit namely pension credit dishonestly made a statement to the Department for Work and Pensions which was false namely that she failed to provide information that her husband was working. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Motoring

Luke Dixon, 19, of Pentland Road, Dronfield Woodhouse. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Leon Simon Morris, 22, of St Augustine’s Road, Chesterfield. Without the consent of the owner took a Skyjet 125 motorcycle for the use of yourself or another. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Leslie Vincent Alexander, 50, of Hucklow Avenue, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Drove a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No sperate penalty. Used a vehicle without insurance. Being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and failed to stop.
