Theft

Debra Ulyatt, 49, of Derby Road, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing ten Yankee candles. Fined £63 and must pay £130 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing six Yankee candles. No separate penalty. Must pay £78 compensation.

Ricky Patrick Dunne, 19, of Lime Grove Walk, Matlock. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a satellite navigation system. Pleaded guilty to damaging a door and living room wall belonging to Nottingham Community Housing Association. Community order until May 10, 2016, with a thinking skills programme and rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £25 and must pay compensation of £355.20 and a court charge of £150.

Patrick Joseph Shaw, 22, of Newbold Court, Bromehead Way, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing chocolate valued at £2 belonging to Chocolate by Design. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £2 compensation and £85 costs and a court charge of £150. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Volvo car to the value of about £40. Fined £75 and must pay £40 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Assault

Dominic Harry Lindsey Marsden, 21, of Rutland Gate Close, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Fined £110 and must pay £100 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Rene Stone, 40, of Main Road, Morton, Alfreton. Found not guilty of assault. Pleaded guilty to damaging a car door. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Given a restraining order to last until May 10, 2016.

Ryan Andrew Davies, 19, of Chesterfield Road, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay £90 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Liam Bhatti, 27, of Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Community order to last until May 11, 2016, with 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £250 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Adam Brogan, 20, of Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order to last until May 11, 2016, with 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £100 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Motoring

Philip Reed, 53, of Hampshire Court, Jacksdale. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £281 and must pay a £28 victim surcharge and £200 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Michelle Jane Bone, 47, of Newlands Road, Riddings, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. No obligatory driving disqualification due to short distance driven and the fact she did not intend to drive further and did not present a danger to other road users. Fined £270 and must pay a £27 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ryan Francis Gregory, 21, of South Street North, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. Fined £360. Pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner and damage was caused to the vehicle. Community order to last until November 10, 2015, with an alcohol specified activity requirement and a curfew with supervision. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Neil Brocklehurst, 66, of Vicarage Lane, Ashford-in-the-Water, Bakewell. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £150 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Joseph Edward Purseglove, 20, of High Street, Tideswell. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £295 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Andrew James Watson, 46, of Connaught Court, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £110 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. Indicated a guilty plea to having a lock knife in public without good reason. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Nicholas John Flude, 39, of Langwith Road, Bolsover. Found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £250 and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Craig Stephen Mellor, 41, of Linden Avenue, Clay Cross. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Community order to last until May 10, 2016, with 120 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £100 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £620 costs. Also given a football banning order for three years.

Dean Martin Mellor, 41, of The Fairways, Danesmoor, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £90 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Dean Anthony Stone, 47, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards a police officer. Community order to last until May 10, 2016, with a drug rehabilitation requirement. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment or distress. No separate penalty.

Kathleen Ann Concannon, 62, of Monyash Close, Staveley. Indicated a guilty plea to being drunk in a public place and engaging in behaviour which was likely to cause harassment or distress. Committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 court charge.

Jamie Blakemore, 19, of Chapel Street, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with an anti-social behaviour direction by failing to leave Chesterfield town centre. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months for two offences of criminal damage. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of damage. Community order to last until July 7, 2015, with a curfew with electronic monitoring. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 court charge.

Richard Bower, of Woodland Walk, Chesterfield. Proved in absence that he failed to hand over a rail ticket for inspection. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £135 costs.

Ricki Brooks, 27, of Churchfields, Creswell. Failed to notify Bolsover District Council of a change of circumstances which would affect entitlement to housing benefit in that the defendant was employed. Also following a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to a reduction under an authority’s council tax reduction scheme failed to give notification that the defendant was employed. Discharged conditionally for two years. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Drugs

Craig Anthony Dickson, 28, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.2grammes of cannabis, a controlled class B drug. Fined £70 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Must pay a court charge of £150.
