Chef gets hot in the kitchen

In time for Pancake Day, chef Chris Blackburn will visit the Authentic Furniture showroom at Peak Village Shopping Outlet, in Rowsley.

Chris, who has appeared on ITV’s Food Glorious Food and BBC’s The One Show, will be giving his top tips for the perfect batter on Sunday March 2 in aid of the store’s chosen charity Make A Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children and young people with life–threatening conditions.

He said: “Make a Wish Foundation UK is a fantastic charity and I’m delighted that ‘The Perfect Batter’ demo will support such a worthy cause.”

Tickets for the event cost £5 per person with all proceeds going to the charity.

Admission includes tasting samples fresh from the oven.
