On Saturday, a 21–tonne canal boat will be pulled along Cromford Canal in relays from 10.45am.

From Friday to Sunday attractions will include stalls, open gardens, music, fairground rides and a pudding competition.

To coincide with the event, The Bell Inn will host a karaoke competition on Saturday as part of Connecting Cromford.

Organiser Steve Rawlinson said: “The karaoke competition was designed as an opportunity for as many people in the village as possible to participate in this community–based event.”

Money raised by Connecting Cromford will be donated to Cromford Institute.

Entry to the Cromford karaoke competition is limited to a maximum of 12 people. Sign up for it at The Bell Inn by Friday.
