Police have released CCTV images after thieves broke into a storage yard and stole a caravan.

Thieves cut thick wire fencing at a yard in High Holborn Road, Ripley, removed the locks from a caravan and hitched it to a 4x4 before driving away toward Alfreton.

Police believe it they may have driven off along the A610 toward Eastwood.

The caravan is a cream Elddis Crusader and the 4x4 used to tow it is a dark, double cab flat bed with grey or silver wheel trims.

Another dark 4x4 appears to drive in convoy behind the stolen caravan.
